You are making a donation to LADF for its general charitable purposes. LADF is recognized as an organization exempt from Federal and California income taxation under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and Section 23701d of the California Revenue and Taxation Code, respectively. Donations to LADF are 100% eligible for a deduction as a charitable contribution under Federal and California income tax law. However, please consult your tax advisor regarding the deductibility of your contribution based on your personal circumstances. LADF, at its sole discretion, will make a grant to the Jackie Robinson Foundation for donations from this campaign if the Jackie Robinson Foundation meets its grant-making guidelines at the time. If the Jackie Robinson Foundation does not meet its guidelines, LADF will make a grant of the donations from this campaign to one or more qualifying organizations for the purpose of addressing the achievement gap in higher education.
