The Science of Sport develops STEM curriculum and provides programming for all learners. They bring math and science to life through hands-on learning activities using different sports examples and provide direct services to teachers and students.
The Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation Science of Baseball curriculum provides hands-on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) curriculum and programming to elementary and middle school teachers and students in Los Angeles. As part of LADF’s continued commitment to STEM funding, this curriculum was developed through a grant to Science of Sport, to educate young people and spark curiosity in these subjects.
You are making a donation to LADF for its general charitable purposes. LADF is recognized as an organization exempt from Federal and California income taxation under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and Section 23701d of the California Revenue and Taxation Code, respectively. Donations to LADF are 100% eligible for a deduction as a charitable contribution under Federal and California income tax law. However, please consult your tax advisor regarding the deductibility of your contribution based on your personal circumstances. LADF, at its sole discretion, will make a grant to Science of Sport of donations from this campaign if Science of Sport meets its grant-making guidelines at the time. If Science of Sport does not meet its guidelines, LADF will make a grant of the donations from this campaign to one or more qualifying organizations for the purpose of promoting STEM education for Title I youth. All grants will be made net of processing fees and program expenses imposed on the donations.
